Tom Spier is - hands down - the best real estate agent I've come across, and an even better person. We've worked with Tom on a number of properties in DC, and it has always been the same high-class experience.Tom helped prepare our home for sale - evaluating the condition of the property, coordinating repairs with contractors, discussing pricing strategy, and personally attending open houses and various tours. I've never encountered another agent who involves himself with the attention to detail, responsiveness, and care that Tom does in the home selling process. Tom consistently goes above and beyond in a way no one else would, and he is truly the reason our sale went through. It takes working with someone like Tom to realize that he is the best in his industry, bar none. When you work with Tom, he treats your property like his own, and treats you like family. I'm glad our property was sold, but will genuinely miss working with him!

Tom Spier was the best real estate agent, advocate, and guide we could have ever asked for during the home buying process--other than being able to purchase our home, meeting Tom was the highlight of the entire home buying process! Tom was highly recommended to us by a close friend as someone who will do whatever is necessary to help you find the right home, and they were 100% correct. The first time we met Tom, he walked us through the entire home-buying process, spending hours answers answering the questions of two novices who had no knowledge of the D.C. market. Tom saw countless houses with us and for us---often, when we would mention that we thought a house "might" be a good fit, he would take the time to immediately visit the home, take photos and videos, and give us his honest opinion. I never felt like Tom was trying to rush us (even though it took us a long time to figure out what our dream home actually was!) and he often would ensure that we were thinking long-term, rather than just going forward with a house because of fear or impatience. Even when we travelled abroad, Tom made sure that we were able to see the houses that came on the market, and he drafted multiple thoughtful offers for us in a really challenging market. I always felt like Tom had our best interests at heart and I trusted (and still trust!) him completely. Even following our home purchase, Tom has been an invaluable resource to us and answers any questions that we might have. Though I am so glad that we were able to purchase our home, I genuinely miss spending time with Tom, which says it all! You could not have a better agent than Tom representing you, and we are so grateful to have met him!
